Have you heard that Twitter is an amazing place for professional development, but don’t quite believe it? In this session, we will share our stories of becoming connected to each other and to teachers around the world through the Math-Twitter-Blog-o-Sphere, and how those connections have dramatically impacted our teaching. We will share numerous resources with which we have found success in our classrooms. Among others, experience and explore Open Middle, Visual Patterns, Which One Doesn’t Belong, Mathalicious, Desmos. Learn about the resources, how we use them in our 7/8 classrooms, and how our online collaborations have allowed us to deepen the learning in our classes.
